Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet needs.  Many people are aware of the Elks organization, but may not know of the investment they make in the communities.  Owned and operated by the Elks of North Dakota, Camp Grassick serves children and adults with various disabilities and special needs throughout six different sessions.  Dave Bailly, Past President and Current Membership Chair of the ND Elks Association, contacted Video Arts Studios to create a membership PSA to highlight this State Major Project-Elks Camp Grassick.

Video Arts Studios Everyone wants to go to summer camp, including children and adults with special needs, and the ND Elks Camp is nationally known for their outstanding service to children and adults with disabilities.  The Video Arts’ creative team of Producer Jim Kirwan, Director of Photography Marty Halgrimson and Sound Engineer John Shea spent a beautiful summer day in June videotaping activities at Camp Grassick,  south of Dawson, ND.  Camp Director Dan Mimnaugh helped the team highlight the fun and camaraderie that is enjoyed by campers and counselors alike during the sessions.

One look at the Summer Camp Membership PSA and you’ll be wishing you were at camp too!  If you’d like to become a member of the Elks in your community, please look for a lodge at www.elks.org.
